Granite top tables

Autumn 2018

A friend had been studying at a local technical college doing landscaping and stonework, but the college was closing down the stonework course. So they needed to get rid of all the 'practice' stone they had lying around in their stores. I managed to get a 4 m2 piece of this granite (3cm thick), at an exteremely good price. Obviously this was way to big and heavy to be moved or used as it. So my friend cut it down to more manageable sizes for me, and finished the edges. All I then needed to do was build a basic frame for each table.

Each table top is still quite heavy (approx 70kg each), so both of the tables are on casters for moving around a little more easily.
