I've been woodworking since I was about 10 years old and over the years I've built many pieces of furniture, including cabinets, bookcases and tables, alongside gift items and some more ambitious renovation projects. Pretty much everything I've learned about woodwork has been self-taught and made at my home workshop.

For me, it's a great way change from sitting in front of a computer screen for my programming work. It's also very satisfying to make something physical with my hands (only a few power tools!).
